60 Minute Punch-Up Session

(Private, 1 hour, 1:1 Zoom call)
Together, we’ll make your presentation funnier and more engaging!

Price: $497.00 USD

What’s a punch-up session?

In the tv world, generally one writer is assigned to write the draft of an episode, and then that draft comes into the writers room to be punched-up (made tighter and funnier) by the group.

During this one hour session, you and I are that writers room.

Together, we’ll go through your draft to identify and take advantage of the comedic opportunities that ALREADY EXIST in your material.

The jokes we come up with will be in your voice — and they’ll be workplace appropriate.

HOW IT WORKS:

As part of the booking process, you’ll be asked to answer some background questions on your style, presentation and intended audience.
You’ll also receive instructions on how and when to submit your speech before your session. (As late as the night before is fine.)

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

  • 60 minute, fully collaborative 1:1 session filled with suggestions on how to make your presentation funnier and more engaging

  • Recording of your session

  • Email feedback on your next draft

PLEASE NOTE:

I do not do any writing outside the call, but I encourage you to send me your draft before we speak, so we can hit the ground running!

What Clients Say:

“Beth is a true professional. Her suggestions were clear and insightful, taking my speech to the next level. I couldn't be happier.”

— Tim W.

“Beth is an excellent listener and provided me with many great options to help pull together my thoughts in a natural way. I very much enjoyed the back and forth and her dynamic approach and thought process. She made the whole process very easy and I feel much more confident about my material now.”

— Rich W.

“Prior to our chat, I thought my speech was starting to drag on a bit and felt redundant in spots. After talking to you for a bit you seem to “read” me well. In doing so, you were able to help me correct the areas where I was stuck and improve the overall flow of my speech while adding some needed humor. And, doing so in a way that was true to my voice. Working with you was really enjoyable, and receiving positive feedback definitely was comforting. Thanks so much!”

— Sue R.
